Curious Kisses .Chp.48. "Are you gonna cook or should I?" Richard stared at the fridge, glaring with contempt. "I don't like cooking. I always burn it...always." I raised my eyebrow at him, wanting to laugh but knowing it would embarrass him. "Want me to teach you?" I mumbled, touching his arm softly. He looked down at me smiling.Curious Kisses .Chp.48.

Curious Kisses .Chp.47. The traffic took a sharp turn left as did the road itself and we entered into a small park. There grass was dying and yellowed in the middle was a small fountain spouting water out of a screaming open mouth. The metal was rusting, and the copper pipes had long ago turned green. Plants were scarce here, three small trees stood at the end of the small park. The branches sagged, dead leaves still drifting to the ground. The piles of red brown and orange leaves scattered by the wind.Curious Kisses .Chp.47.

“Yo, Mags! Table 9, pronto!”

“Kid, get table 4 and get it now!”
“Oh Godammit!”
I curse up a storm under my breath while I bus the third table in five minutes, rushing past other tables and around groups of vampires that barely leave me any room to negotiate. When I get back to the kitchen, I do so deliberately avoiding any members of the wait-staff I see. The smell of meat and blood affronts my nostrils when I step in, not to mention the heat, but I hardly mind—I’m in my element.

Curious Kisses .Chp.46. "Lets go Alexia." Richard turned and exited the bus, I took a deep breath and followed him my nerves shaking. The air above us was clouded with fog and smoke, the tips of the apartments and skies disappearing in the clouds. I stumbled on the sidewalk, and Richard's hand lashed out grabbing the back of my shirt to keep me from falling. I blushed and righted myself feeling embarrassed. "Try not to hurt yourself." Richard murmured, he slid his finger into mine, "And stay close okay love?" I nodded blushing more. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up, it felt aCurious Kisses .Chp.46.
